The variation from the ASTM 53B table is less than 0.4 kg/m³, which corresponds to an error margin of either half a degree Celsius or half a unit of density when using thermometers or hydrometers for these measurements in the field. For precise results, manual ASTM D1250: Table 53B should be followed.
